Keep medications in their original containers.

Controlled Substances/Medications

Substances, including illicit drugs and specific prescription medications, regulated by law, can be brought to most local police departments and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office. Contact your local law enforcement for more information. Controlled substances can only be accepted at the Rockland Green Household Hazardous Waste Facility during the 10 scheduled weekend events during the calendar year.

Non-Controlled Substances

Non-controlled substance medications can be brought to the Rockland Green Household Hazardous Waste Facility at 35 Firemen's Memorial Drive on any weekday between the hours of 8am and 1pm and on select weekend dates.
